There was a report recently, which suggested that British music superstar Adele had turned down the chance to collaborate with American music superstar Beyonce, which many people found rather disrespectful. Well, Adele has now opened up about these reports, insisting they are just rumours and that there is absolutely no truth in them.
Adele was a guest on Radio One, when she explained to Kiwi DJ Zane Lowe, "There's a rumour going round that I turned Beyonce down, which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I'd never disrespect her like that."
While that has now been cleared up and we are sure that Adele would jump at the chance to work with Beyonce, the Hello singer also went on to praise a number of other music stars. Adele pretty much revealed a list of names that she would be more than happy to collaborate with in the future.
She added, "I love Lana Del Rey. I love her very, very much. I've never met her though, but I just think she... like stirs my soul. I love Alabama Shakes, and I think (singer) Brittany (Howard) is, the way I first felt when Etta James, when I first heard her (sic)." As well as that, Adele also went on to mention Drake, Chvrches, and The Maccabees.
As far as her career is concerned, Adele recently admitted that, despite having a dig at other music stars for doing so, she would be up for trying her hand at acting in the future. Well we would have no problem with that at all.
