Aishwarya Rai's return to the Bollywood spotlight is showing no signs of slowing down as illustrated by her recent public and modelling appearances for magazines such as the Malayalam magazine "Asiavision" (December 2014 issue).
interestingly, as she continues her comeback it seems that 'time has not healed all wounds' as her recent lack of interaction with Bollywood star Katrina Kaif caught the attention of some people in attendance at the pre-Christmas party of Katrina Kaif and her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
Aishwarya Rai attended the party at the invite of Ranbir Kapoor, her "Ae Il Hai Mushkil" co-star but she surprised many fans with her avoidance of Katrina Kaif during the party with the exception of some pleasantries.
Her lack of interaction with the co-host was similar to when she visited her husband while he was shooting "Doom 3" in Chicago which also included Katrina Kaif. It seems that whatever issue was 'discussed' between the two ex-girlfriends of Salman Khan is still lingering in the mind of the ex-Miss World pageant winner and she is 'not over it' (International Business Times - December 24).
An intriguing aspect about her discomfort is the possibility that one of the reasons that she does not get along with Katrina Kaif might be because they are actually similar and used to being the "Queen Bee" wherever they appear.
The fact that Aishwarya Rai is showing up at more 'events' suggests that she is in doing what it takes to make her Bollywood comeback a success including rubbing shoulders with friends and foe.
Aishwarya Rai in 2015 will return to work with a feature role in Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa" and will follow this film with Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and one should not be surprised if her presence helps make both movies blockbuster successes both critically and at the box office.
