Anne Hathaway revealed a little bit of what it takes for her to be great in a film during an interview with "Deadline" (December 21, 214) when she disclosed that she "gave herself permission to go a bit more Method" to create her Amelia Brand character for the blockbuster movie "Interstellar".

The actress in the interview stated that in some of her other films she did not feel "connected to her director" and that her 'method' acting process was a burden to them. Fortunately her past experience with director Christopher Nolan and the presence of renowned method actor Christian Bale on the set of Interstellar made this project different.
The Oscar-award winning actress admitted to having 'fun' in calibrating the character but once she understood who the character was it likely made for some uncomfortable situations between 'takes' because her character in the movie "Interstellar" is someone who has deep social awkwardness and she as a 'method' actress stayed in character at all times when on set.

The interview for fans, filmmakers and aspiring actresses is an eye-opener because it shows the lengths that this gorgeous actress will take for her craft. Many actors in an attempt to be 'popular' are unwilling to 'stay in character' for fear of alienating others but this beautiful actress puts her 'craft of acting' in front of being popular.
Her interview with "Deadline" about "Interstellar" is likely very popular with Hollywood agents as they are probably printing it out and asking their clients, "are you willing to go to these lengths to be an award-winning actress" because this is the type of dedication required.
Fans in 2015 will have the opportunity to see Anne Hathaway display her talents in "The Intern" and it would not be a surprise to some entertainment observers if her fan base increases even more with the revelation of how 'committed' she is to the portrayal of the characters she plays.
