There are so many interesting and exciting movies coming out over the course of the next few years and, one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of 2016 would have to be the upcoming Warner Bros. and DC film Suicide Squad. The cast for the Suicide Squad movie is very impressive, with some of the top names in the business taking on some of our favourite DC characters.
British model Cara Delevingne has been enjoying a steady rise in the acting industry and will take on the role of Enchantress in the Suicide Squad film. Cara has been talking about what to expect from her character in the movie, while also revealing what happened in her audition and how she actually won the role.
Delevingne explained, "The Enchantress, the part I'm playing, I'm actually playing two different parts, it's like an actresses dream. I'm playing opposites, like a mousey kind of scientist and then a crazy feral witch, which is great, both sides of my personality. I went and auditioned before there was even a script. I think I was one of the first people that David Ayer, the director, actually cast."
She added, "I ended up just doing a monologue from Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf and David has a very amazing skill of writhing up a lot of emotion in you, so by the time I left I literally wanted to kill someone I was so angry, and I said to him 'look, if I kill someone on the way home you better bail me out of jail because I'm furious.'"
Suicide Squad will see Cara Delevingne sharing the big screen with Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto, to name just a few. David Ayer has directed Suicide Squad, which is set to hit the big screen on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
