We are seeing so many models deciding to try their hand at acting in recent years, with a number of these models deciding to focus more of their time and effort on their acting career, rather than sticking to what has got them to where they are today. While some of these models have gone on to prove that they have the acting talent to mix it with some of the best the industry has to offer, there are others who should really get back to the day job.

Emily Ratajkowski has enjoyed a huge rise in the modelling industry over the past couple of years and, with her modelling career at an all-time high, Emily decided that the time was right to put her acting skills to the test. This has led to Ratajkowski landing roles in movies including Gone Girl and Entourage, while she most recently played the female lead in the Zac Efron movie We Are Your Friends.
Unfortunately for Emily Ratajkowski, We Are Your Friends was less than impressive and, as well as being slated by both the fans and the critics alike, the movie was also a huge box office flop. However, Emily is putting the disappointment of We Are Your Friends behind her and is moving swiftly on to her next project Cruise, in a bid to get her acting career on track.

Cruise will see Emily Ratajkowski starring alongside Spencer Boldman, with the film being written and directed by Robert D. Siegel and a release date yet to be determined. Cruise is officially described as "A young Italian-American living in New York falls for a girl on the wrong side of the tracks." It will be interesting to see if this is the project to get Emily the recognition she is looking for.
