Take That star Gary Barlow has been talking about the possibility of joining the British boyband One Direction and, while it sounds like the former X Factor judge would be up for teaming up with the former X Factor contestants, it sounds more likely that he would be more up for doing a duet with Harry Styles. Gary also admitted that he feels the One Direction break is much-needed.
Barlow said, "He is the one... I know all of them but I know him better than the others. There's definitely no plans [to join] but, yeah, I would. If he asked me, I would, definitely [join the group]. I personally think they need a break. They're pretty world-dominating, aren't they, One Direction. They've got all America covered."
He added, "They've been touring all over America, so I'm knackered even thinking about all the stuff that they do and we probably do half of the stuff that they do. I don't envy them, to be honest with you, to be going all over America. Plus they've got no children. They don't have that family set yet and I think once that happens, I think they'll have to reconsider their options about going around America and stuff. I mean, I'm happy for them. They've done amazing."
One Direction are set to go on an extended break next year, with some people suggesting that this could be the beginning of the end for the band. While we are intrigued to see what Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Harry Styles decide to do on the One Direction hiatus, we do hope that they do not have too long a break.
