When movie fans look at Robert Davi they generally think of movie roles such as the 1989 James Bond film "Licence to Kill" and "The Iceman" in which he played a villain so the disclosure that he is a renowned, talented singer has been a surprise to some entertainment fans.
However, an even bigger surprise to some entertainment fans has been the fact that not only can he sing but he can sing the songs of the legendary singer/actor Frank Sinatra. A tough guy actor who can sing so well that he can melt the hearts of female listeners is a difficult act to compete with for most men and has made him a very intriguing individual for some entertainment fans.
The actor has some movie fans wondering if he will ever incorporate his singing skills into an acting role but at the moment it seems he is focused on keeping the two separate and getting more enjoyment on performing the songs of Sinatra and acting.
In a recent interview on the Dispatch Radio show he also provided a surprise to fans with his willingness to talk about politics in 2016, Donald Trump, global warning, liberalism, problems with the education system and addressing Hollywood's issues with Christianity (Global Dispatch - September 4). Any person who thought his 'straight talk' persona displayed in his movie roles was only for the big screen received a pleasant 'shock' to their system as he did not hold back in expressing his views.
In addition to his singing he still is a much in-demand actor as he has several projects that will be released in either 2015 or 2016 including a biopic on Ronald Reagan in which he has been cast to play Brezhnev, the Russian leader.
