So now that the Justice League movie has been released for a while and we can pretty much all agree that it failed to hit the mark with the majority of the fans and critics around the world, we can now move on to talking about the other upcoming Warner Bros. and DC movies we have coming our way over the course of the next few years, including the eagerly anticipated Matt Reeves The Batman movie.

Hollywood veteran Ben Affleck has been playing Bruce Wayne aka Batman in the DC Extended Universe and it is expected that he will reprise that role for the Flashpoint movie but, if the rumours are to be believed, then Ben will step away from the role, opening up the door for a new actor to take on the role of Batman in the Matt Reeves The Batman film.
A lot of these rumours have suggested that Matt Reeves would actually love to cast Jake Gyllenhaal as his Bruce Wayne aka Batman in The Batman movie, which seems to have gone down well with a lot of comic book fans. With that said, Jon Hamm has put his name forward and insisted that he would absolutely love the chance to play Batman on the big screen, which also has fans excited. Then there have been a few murmurs that Keanu Reeves could be in with a shout of starring in The Batman.

Well, with Jon Hamm being in his 50s, a lot of fans feel that he is too old to play Bruce Wayne aka Batman as they want someone younger to now take on the role. Meanwhile, just the thought of Keanu Reeves playing Batman gives us nightmares and keeps us up at night with worry. So, if it was up to us, then we would suggest that Jake Gyllenhaal would be the best bet to replace Ben Affleck in the Matt Reeves The Batman movie.
