Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner has been working on her latest movie project Miracles From Heaven, which is based on the Christy Beam memoirs of the near death experience that her daughter suffered. Jennifer has admitted that getting back in touch with her spiritual side has made her want to become a better mother.
Jennifer Garner grew up in a very religious family but feels that she has not passed on those religious beliefs to her children as they have got older. Jennifer has three children, daughters Violet and Seraphina, and son Samuel, all with her ex-husband Ben Affleck. Jennifer has now opened up about wanting to become a better mother to her children, admitting that she was pleasantly surprised with how her kids responded to her talk about religion.
Garner was talking to USA Today, when she told them, "I think I had become complacent in raising my children, almost as though (I thought) they were going to receive the ground beneath their feet that heaven had given me through osmosis."
The actress decided to bring up religion with her children, with all of them saying they would like to go to church, "I was floored, and I immediately looked up the local United Methodist church. We went there next Sunday, and it turned out to be the perfect environment. We've gotten so much from it; it's like a gift Christy gave me," she added.
Miracles From Heaven is set to hit the big screen on March 16 in the US, before then opening in the UK on June 10.
