British actress Kate Beckinsale has been making quite a lot of headlines recently, thanks to her relationship with actor Matt Rife, who is half her age, leading to a lot of talk about the romance. However, while we do love to delve into the personal lives of some of the biggest stars in the business, we are more interested to see what Kate Beckinsale has going on in her acting career, since her days as Selene in Underworld have now come to an end.
Well, Kate Beckinsale will next be seen on the big screen in the new movie The Only Living Boy in New York, which has already been completed, while she is also waiting to begin shooting the new movie Farming. We are very interested in seeing how Farming comes together, as it not only has a very interesting and exciting cast but it also has a rather intriguing synopsis.
Farming has been officially described as, "Based on the writer/director's childhood, FARMING tells story of a young Nigerian boy, 'farmed out' by his parents to a white British family in the hope of a better future. Instead, he becomes the feared leader of a white skinhead gang."
And who is that writer/director, I hear you ask. Well it is none other than the very talented Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who will also be playing one of the lead roles in the movie, along with Kate Beckinsale, while the Farming cast also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Damson Idris. There is no release date for Farming yet, with the movie currently in pre-production and expected to begin shooting in August.
