We are pretty sure that everybody in the world now knows that the British boyband One Direction are going to take a bit of a break next year, with the boys focusing on some individual projects instead. There has been plenty of talk about what we can expect from Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, and it looks like we now know what one of them will get up to.
One Direction performed on BBC Radio One's Live Lounge this week, when talk turned to the coming break, which led to Liam Payne revealing exactly what he was hoping to get out of the hiatus. Liam said that, since the boys definitely plan on getting back together after the break, he is going to spend the time mastering his songwriting skills.
Payne explained, "Obviously we're all going to take a break for a bit first and then consider where we are in the world. Then I just want to write songs. That's been the most fun process out of this, except for touring. We're going to come back, so there's something to write for as well. We haven't really had time to write an album. We've always had to rush it, so it's going to be nice for the next two years. I'm going to write a few songs and see what happens."
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Harry Styles is going to look at the possibility of getting into acting, while Niall Horan is hoping to make a name for himself on the professional golf scene, with Louis Tomlinson setting up his own record label. Let's hope it all works out for the best for them all.
