What is it with bands breaking up, making a comeback, splitting up again, having a reunion, then coming back yet again? The Spice Girls are arguably the biggest girlband the world has ever seen and, while they have all gone on to enjoy success in their own rights, it seems that they just cannot resist getting back together for special performances.
It was recently suggested that Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton were in talks to make another Spice Girls reunion, with Victoria Beckham unlikely to ever return to the girlband. With that in mind, current girlband of the moment, Little Mix, have admitted that they are delighted to hear of a potential Spice Girls reunion and would love to perform with them.
Perrie Edwards said, "We'd love to be involved with it. We love the Spice Girls and want to perform with them. They know that," while Jade Thirlwall added, "Hopefully we get to support them and do a duet." Meanwhile, Jesy Nelson said, "It's never the same if they don't all do it. Then again they were still successful when Geri [Halliwell] left, because they were so iconic. But it wouldn't work if Little Mix weren't all together."
While millions of fans around the world would love to see another Spice Girls reunion, it does look unlikely to happen, as Mel B insisted that she would only do it if all four of the other girls were in, which looks unlikely with Victoria Beckham believed to be uninterested in another Spice Girls reunion. Shame!
