A little while back, it was announced that Quentin Tarantino was working on a new movie about the Manson Family murders and that he was eyeing some huge Hollywood superstars to appear in the new project. When it came to the casting of the beautiful Sharon Tate, it was claimed that Quentin was looking at two of the biggest actress in Hollywood right now, and it looks like one has edged the other out.
It was claimed that Quentin Tarantino was looking at either Jennifer Lawrence or Margot Robbie to play Sharon Tate and it looks like the Suicide Squad actress has now pushed ahead of the Oscar winning actress for the role. Debra Tate, the sister of Sharon Tate, has been talking about this planned project, and she has insisted that she would much prefer Margot over Jennifer.
Debra supposedly told TMZ that Lawrence was not pretty enough to play Sharon, saying, "That's a horrible thing to say, but I have my standards. My pick would be Margot simply because of her physical beauty. And the way she even carries herself is similar to that of Sharon."
While it is always good to hear from a family member about who they think should be cast, Quentin Tarantino is not someone who is easily swayed and we are sure that he will go with the actress he wants, rather than being pushed in another direction. We have no doubt that he will make the right decision and we look forward to seeing the movie when it is finally complete.
