Following the two standalone Hulk movies we were given, comic book movie fans were beginning to wonder whether we will ever actually get to see a Hulk that would live up to expectations. Well, those prayers were answered, when we were given Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in The Avengers, with many fans so impressed by the character that they wanted a new Hulk standalone movie.
Unfortunately, the word from Marvel and from Mark Ruffalo himself, has been that there are no plans to make a Hulk solo movie at any point in the near future, much to the disappointment of fans around the world. Instead, we would have to make do with getting to see Hulk appearing in both of the Avengers: Infinity War movies, while there were also rumours of the character appearing in Thor: Ragnarok.
Well, it has now been officially confirmed that we will get to see Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok, which has led to many people to suggest that this will lead to a Planet Hulk movie. While we will no doubt get plenty of denials from Marvel, regarding a Planet Hulk movie, it would make sense for it to happen, following Hulk appearing in Thor: Ragnarok.
With that said, Marvel do have a full schedule of movies coming our way, all the way up to and including 2020, which means that, if and when we do finally get a new Hulk movie, it is not going to be for many more years yet.
