When we talk to you about some of the new movies that are coming our way in the next few years or so, we do tend to focus on the big A list Hollywood names who are going to star in these big new films, when there are actually plenty of other projects that are coming our way, which are just as exciting, without actually having to have these huge Hollywood superstars on board.
Following the recent success of the new hit Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, we have been taking a look at the cast in the show and what they have coming up in the near future. Well it seems that actor Christian Navarro, who plays the role of Tony in 13 Reasons Why, has a very interesting new movie coming our way, which will see him working with some exciting names in the business.
Christian Navarro will share the big screen with the likes of Melissa McCarthy and Julie Ann Emery in the upcoming new movie Can You Ever Forgive Me?, which has been officially described as, "When bestselling celebrity biographer, Lee Israel, is no longer able to get published because she has fallen out of step with current tastes, she turns her art form to deception, abetted by her loyal friend, Jack."
As well as having these three stars on board for the new movie, Can You Ever Forgive Me? also features such other names as Jennifer Westfeldt, Marc Evan Jackson, and Richard E. Grant, among others. Can You Ever Forgive Me? has been directed by Marielle Heller, based on the screenplay that Nicole Holofcener adapted from the Lee Israel memoir, with the movie still awaiting an official release date.
