When it comes to the Batman movies, there are a few characters who continue to turn up in a number of different adaptations of the Caped Crusader, one of which is Selena Kyle aka Catwoman. We had Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns, Halle Berry in the Catwoman movie, Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises, and even the young Camren Bicondova in the Gotham TV series.
Well, following the less than impressive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, we know have the new Batman standalone movie to look forward to, which many people believe will give us yet another look at a new Catwoman. With Ben Affleck playing an older version of Bruce Wayne, which actress would be ideal as the new Selena Kyle? Here we take a look at a few possibilities.
Actress Olivia Wilde has been working hard in the acting industry for many years now, putting in some very strong performances in some impressive movies along the way. While we have no doubt that Olivia could pull of the role of Catwoman, there are some people who feel that, at the age of 32, she is too young to play 43-year-old Ben Affleck's love interest.
Someone who is a little bit closer in age to Ben Affleck, albeit by just a few years, is the 35-year-old Eliza Dushku, who seems to already have plenty of comic book fans fighting her corner. It is no surprise really though, as Eliza has voiced the animated version of Catwoman in the past, so she does already have some history with the character.
One of the surprising fans favourites to play Catwoman in the Ben Affleck Batman solo movie, is the beautiful and talented Eva Green, with plenty of fans putting her name forward. Many believe that Eva could bring something a little different to the role and, with the movie expect to be as dark as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, she could be perfect to bring that big of edginess to the role.
