Rashida Jones is turning out to be incredibly multi-talented, with acting, writing, and now directing under her belt. Jones has directed Sara Bareilles new music video for her single 'Brave'.
The video includes some well choreographed dance sequences, as well as several impromptu dance scenes in locations such as libaries and gyms. The video is definitely high-energy, and it definitely shows that Jones has talent, especially with music videos. Will this talent translate to feature films? I'm guessing it's only a matter of a few years before we find out.
Sara Bareilles opened up about her experience working with Rashida Jones, jokingly saying, "Here’s the thing about working with Rashida. When you’ve plucked someone out of oblivion like I’ve done for her, to give her this opportunity to just sort of step slowly into the realm of entertainment, I would’ve liked to see her raise the bar a bit. But, you know, she’s pleasant. What I wanted from her was ambition and drive, and I didn’t get that.” The quote is clearly a joke, and Sara herself continues to remain busy with her fourth studio album 'The Blessed Unrest'.
Jones' resume continues to get more diverse, as she already has acting, writing [both screenplays and comics], as well as dancing. The multi-talented daughter of Quincy Jones currently stars on Parks and Recreation, but she will be appearing in the films 'Decoding Annie Parker' and 'Cuban Fury' in the next year.
