It was not too long ago that many people were talking about Shailene Woodley being one of the most promising actresses in Hollywood, with a lot of them tipping her to go on to become one of the biggest and best stars in the business. While Shailene is still a hard working actress, with plenty of work still coming her way, it does not quite feel like she is reaching those heights that we all thought she would.

With that said, Shailene Woodley does have two new movie projects lined up for the coming years, although both are still in the rather early stages of development, so anything could actually happen with them between now and getting made. Shailene is linked to the new movie No Baggage, which is currently in the scripting stages, while she is also attached to the new film Adrift, which is even earlier than that.
While No Baggage is still in the script writing process, we do already know that the movie has been officially described as, "A couple embark on an international adventure on the spur of the moment after meeting through an online dating site," with Clare Benson and Adam Brooks working on the story and the screenplay. No Baggage has been floating around since way back in 2014 but hopefully things are finally moving forward and we will see some positive progress happening in the near future.

Meanwhile, when it comes to the other new movie Adrift, the movie was announced back in December last year, with the screenplay being developed by Aaron Kandell and Jordan Kandell, with Baltasar Kormakur on board to direct the project. As well as that, we will also get to see Shailene Woodley sharing the screen with Miles Teller, who is also attached to appear in the film.
So, as you can see, while Shailene Woodley might not quite be at that level that we have been expecting from her for a while now, she is still working hard and still has the potential to go all the way to the very top.
