There has been a lot of attention around actress Monica Bellucci playing a Bond Girl in the new movie Spectre, due to the fact she is 47 years old, not the typical young woman James Bond would fall in love with. While talking about her role in the movie, Monica took the time to praise James Bond actor Daniel Craig, saying he made her feel very comfortable during their intimate scenes.

Bellucci said, "Daniel is so generous as an actor and a man, so I was never uncomfortable. When you have to do intimate scenes with someone, it's so important for the chemistry to be there - because then it becomes more like a tango. But I don't think it's a coincidence that a lot of roles I'm playing now are women coming out of the darkness into the light because I do feel that ageing has given me a new freedom."
As well as talking about what a fantastic actor Daniel Craig was to work with, Monica Bellucci also went on to talk about landing her role as a Bond Girl in Spectre. Monica says that she was quite surprised that director Sam Mendes wanted her as a Bond Girl, as she originally thought he wanted her to replace Judi Dench as the new M.

Bellucci added, "I assumed they wanted me to play the new M. I really did but when Sam explained that he wanted 'an adult woman to seduce Bond for the first time,' I realised that this was going to revolutionary. It's such a beautiful example to set for other actresses - and other women."
The new James Bond movie Spectre is set to hit the big screen on October 26 in the UK, before then opening in the US on November 6.
