Meghan Markle loves being able to show her extensive dramatic range as Rachel Zane for which she expressed immense gratitude but she realized that she wanted a 'break from the serious drama that comes with playing her "Suits" role.
As such in the Hallmark show "When Sparks Fly" she will be playing Chicago journalist Amy Peterson who returns home. During her time home she sees her ex-boyfriend Hank Lyons played by Christopher Jacot and is informed that he is engaged to her best friend, Sammie played by Kristina Pesic. When her friend Sammie learns that Amy is back in town she persuades her to help plan her wedding and that is when the fun truly begins.
