Well 2015 is finally here and we are in for a very good and exciting year of movie releases, with a whole host of interesting and exciting movies set to hit the big screen in 2015. We have been bringing you our Top 10 list of most anticipated movie releases in 2015 and have already given you some very exciting movies so far, including the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie, which was runner up on the list, which brings us to our top choice today.
Some original characters are returning
When we decided to compile this list, it was fairly difficult to cut it down to just 10 films, with so many exciting movies coming out in 2015 but, when it came to the most anticipated movie of the year, there was only ever going to be one choice. From the moment it was announced that Disney had purchased the rights to Star Wars and were bringing us a new trilogy fans have been so excited about finally seeing another Star Wars movie on the big screen.
The excitement surrounding Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens has continued to grow and, with the first trailer for the movie coming out a few weeks ago, the excitement levels have gone through the roof. We are all eager to see the return of many of our favourite Star Wars characters, while also looking forward to seeing what new characters will be brought to the franchise.
We will also see some new characters
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens will see the return of original stars such as Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, plus many more, while we will also see new stars including Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, and Daisy Ridley, among others. Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens will hit the big screen on December 18, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
