When it comes to seeing a Hollywood star rising to the top and become one of the best in the business, we love it when they have had some set backs in their career early on, before then going on to show just how great they actually are. That is exactly what happened for Hollywood superstar Matthew McConaughey, who looked like his acting career was going nowhere, before turning things around and eventually winning an Oscar for his efforts.
This has led to Matthew McConaughey becoming one of the most sought after actors in the world, with plenty of new acting roles coming his way on a regular basis. Next up for the talented actor is the upcoming new movie White Boy Rick, which has released its latest trailer for the film, which has fans very excited indeed.
We are very excited to see White Boy Rick hit the big screen and, if you are unsure about what to expect from the new movie, it has been officially described as, "The story of teenager Richard Wershe Jr., who became an undercover informant for the FBI during the 1980s and was ultimately arrested for drug-trafficking and sentenced to life in prison."
As well as having Matthew McConaughey starring in the upcoming new film, the White Boy Rick cast will also feature other such Hollywood stars as Bel Powley, Jennifer Jason Lee, Bruce Dern, Eddie Marsan, Brian Tyree Henry, and Rory Cochrane, among others. White Boy Rick has been directed by Yann Demange, with the movie set to hit the big screen on September 21 in the UK and December 7 in the US.
